Resume For Karen Mazzarella
Karen Mazzarella, a self-taught oil painter, is a native of High Point, North Carolina. She started painting at the age of 15 and had already won numerous local and regional awards in art by the time she graduated high school. Karen began painting professionally in 2003 and has participated in many group and solo shows and has won several awards of distinction including a “Best of America” award from the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society. Her work was the feature image of the 51st International Film Festival in Valladolid, Spain. She has had paintings displayed in several galleries in the US and has completed numerous private and corporate commissions. Her paintings and prints are collected throughout the US and internationally.
